This Silk Oak creation is an original, hand silkscreened design. For each color in the design, a separate screen is used, registered by eye and printed by hand, so that each print is unique and slightly different from all the others.
We use water soluble, environmentally friendly dyes that form a permanent bond with the fabric. After printing, the garment is laundered in numerous hot water washes, resulting in a totally preshrunk, ready to wear garment. All of our garments are made in the US and sweatshop free!
Our process is safe for us, safe for you and results in a garment with a soft feel, more vibrant color and easier washability.
Silk Oak is a woman-owned, family run business located in Ithaca, NY. Our goal is to make comfortable, durable and easy to care for clothing and accessories with distinctive, contemporary style.
