I drum carded Merino, Corriedale and Silk and created Eggplant Elegance. The colors are silver\/greys, eggplant and olivey greens. I cannot capture their true colors with my camera, see photo note below. I arranged the steel colored silk in these batts to intermix though out the grey wool only. It will easily disperse itself through out your yarn through your pulling it to roving. These soft and lofty batts will spin like butter! Corriedale and Merino are great wools to spin for beginners and masters alike! The sheen of grey silk teases your eyes into thinking it may just be metal. Thanks for looking!
The eggplant is truly a black\/purple, the camera is depicting it as a dark purple. The greys in the top four photos are washing out, and too light. I can describe it as a soft light grey wool and silk, they almost match perfectly. The first four photos were outside (yes in the softly falling snow!), and the last two were taken inside. If you would like more pics just let me know and I will keep trying.
