This brooch is made up with 2 different main layers of 0.7mm sheet silver - both sharing the same outline shape. The shape of the flower, the petals and the decorative pattern designs within petals have all been designed and composed using cad techniques. There are 8 petals in total, with each one having a different pattern. These designs have been photo etched into the silver and then enamelled with a fresh contemporary mauve colour. The top layer which is lightly satinised then frames the petals of the bottom layer. An 18ct gold flower is added with an amethyst stone to set the arrangement off.
This brooch measures 5cm in diameter.
