This is a variation on The Pond in January, which had sweet whimsical scalloped edging...This has a straight edged bezel...
Vintage Lucite (30 years old) that began as glass-clear but I worked with it a bit, giving it a more matte finish which, when the lucite was set in it’s handmade sterling silver bezel, gave the piece a look that reminds me of almost polished rock crystal- like a treasure plucked from antiquity by a distant adventuring relative, and passed down to you. Of course, Lucite doesn’t add the weight of stone, so this piece is stunning but completely wearable and comfortable with most any wardrobe choice.
The focal piece measures approximately 1” in diameter and hangs a smidgen over 1.5” from the chain. The chain is sterling silver and measures 21” long (I am happy to shorten this before shipping, just put your desired length in the "note to seller" area during checkout). The chain is attached at two points on the bail, so this wears more like a necklace than a pendant where the pendant can slide independently on the chain.
The image of how this hangs shows a similar necklace design (same sizing except the chain is an inch or so shorter).
The necklace in the first image is your actual necklace.
