The Wood
Legs, arm, and back come from a Black Cherry (Prunus seotina) which grew next door to the artist’s house in Northeast Washington, District of Columbia.
The seat is made from the artist’s Peach (Prunus persica ) and Apple (Malus spp.) trees, as well as other fruitwood branches from the artist’s community.
