These delicate little tatted earrings are just 4mm long from the top picot to the beads at the bottom, and 2mm wide. Tatting is the ancient art of creating lace with string or thread using either shuttles, needles.

The knots are formed into graceful loops and chains with decorative "picots" and this is how the designs are created.

I use all three methods of tatting to create my designs.

I learned to tat from my Grandmother Hazel Melton when I was a young girl. The earrings are a great take along project that can travel with me and I can work on them whenever I have a spare moment.


The earrings come from a smoke free environment. There is one little dog that rules the house, so our house is NOT pet free. She owns us. You can see her in the other listings.

These earrings have hypoallergenic surgical steel kidney wires. The beads are glass E-beads with exceptional shine and depth. If you would like the earrings in a different color, I have pink, yellow, black, white, light blue, royal blue, violet, and tan thread. For custom colors, please allow a week after payment for your earrings to be specially made for you.
