Iris - Handmade Lilac to Deep Purple Glass Beaded Necklace and Earrings

When these purple glass beads tumbled from my drawer one day, I was reminded of the the beautiful irises that jut up from their vivid green spiked leaves every Spring. Like my irises, this handmade necklace features colors ranging from pale lilac to deep iridescent purple.

The lilac crackle glass beads came from a late winter trip to the Quartzite, Arizona bead fest. When I found the elegant dark purple glass beads with silver swirls I knew they would be the perfect complement. The tiny flowers within continue my Iris-theme. To represent the brightness of a Spring morning, I added sterling silver round bead spacers and a bright sterling silver round toggle clasp.
