even though she's fashionable i think you'll find she has no problem hanging out with babies and other mussy young children.
she's made from scraps of turquoise paisley and cherry pie fabric, with black cherry legs.
all of my teething birds are made from 100% cotton (or fabric that looks a heck of a lot like it), and nearly every one was made from reclaimed fabric -- either cut from castoff garments or scraps from projects of my own or my friends. they're one-of-a-kind and really, really fun (and safe!) for babies to stick in their mouths. i haven't ever had a problem washing these in the machine with everything else, but i'd suggest staying away from hot water or harsh detergents if you want the colors to remain bright.
