The cuffs are woven with silver-lined glass Czech beads on "fire engine red" thread, and finished with vibrant orange glass beads for the "button & loop" type clasp. If you can close a button on your shirt, you can definitely handle these clasps.
My own design, these are quite light and very comfortable to wear. The resulting bead fabric has *a little* stretch, so it never feels tight - sort of like your favorite jeans with added spandex. ;)
