This particular pitcher has a very pleasing blaze drip on the front under the lip of the pitcher and the brown glaze softly fades from dark to light across the entire body of the pitcher. It is very solid and heavy and weighs almost 4 lbs
It would be lovely as a centerpiece for flowers on a rustic table or even to hold a potted plant if you didn't want to use it for a pitcher.
The pitcher stands 9 1\/8" tall and 7" wide. There are no cracks or crazing in the glaze. There is one very old small chip in the glaze at the top of the pour spout it is about 1\/2 inch long and a 1\/4 inch wide. it is not terribly noticeable and lends a bit of vintage charm to the piece.
It is marked: HULL Oven Proof USA on the bottom.
