This print is on a vintage book page from Faust. It is page 178 Faust: Part One. The page has crease in the upper age and roughly torn left edge adding to it's character. There were originally 60 prints available in the edition. This is number 51 of 60.
Each print is hand printed using a Japanese Gocco printer. It is printed on vintage torn book pages, that are naturally aged and browning. The print itself, is apx. 6" x 4". It is mounted with black photo squares on a sheet of black cardstock measuring 8-1/2" x 11".
Each print is signed, titled, and numbered in pencil below the print. Because of the hand printing process, and the different book pages used, each print is unique, and varies slightly. The text shows in different places, etc. You will receive the exact print shown in the photo.
The print is packaged in a crystal clear plastic bag with protective board and shipped flat.
