This birdhouse is made of cedar boards with copper flashing on the peak of the roof. It measures approximately 12" Tall by 10-1/2" Wide with a nesting floor dimension of approximately 5" x 5".
The entrance hole to this birdhouse is approximately 1-1/2" in diameter.
House is decorated with molding that has been "aged" with black paint. It has a knot for a "balcony" and copper wire accent on the balcony "window". It even has a knot for a chimney. There is also a cabinet knob for a perch. Too cute!
Bottom of house can be removed for cleaning by using a screwdriver. We prefer using screws in our houses as squirrels can figure out how to open latches.
This is suitable for many types of birds.
