The collection consists of 26 handmade designer plush monsters, each representing a letter of the roman alphabet (hence 26).
Each has an average height of 55mm and comes with their own printed ID card, quoting their name, lucky item, favourite element, strange habit, occupation, mission and number, which relates to the order in which they were made. the ID cards are displayed on each monster's own webpage, together with a photograph taken at their current location in the world. The idea is as the monsters are bought by individuals around the world their webpage picture will be updated from owner generated photographs.
Each of these cute, lovable monsters has their own individual character, from geeky to crazy, wise to silly. They come in a handmade presentation box, together with their ID card and the 7-8 hours of time and love that went into designing and making each of them. No two sew-wots are the same, making them totally unique. The monsters are not toys, they are pieces of designer-art.
All design and making took place in the uk, a fair portion of it on public transport.
