Hokusai (1760-1849) was a famous wood block print designer from Japan. This is titled "The Great Wave of Kanagowa" from a series of 46 prints titled "Thirty-six views of Fuji".
It is one of his best known prints. This little half page measures 7 x 5. It is the original from the reference book, so you own it. Copy it, scan it, resize it, make note cards. Great for collage. But please preserve it first, frame it or something, because this type of paper and print won't be along much longer. Your own little piece of history.
This giant wave will come shipped to you in an archival page protector, then sandwiched between two other layers and then in a non bendable mailer marked fragile. I care how my waves roll...hey, I made a joke :).
Enjoy.
