A haunting vision that lingers on....original vintage ephemera. An old inner book covering layered with a wonderfully titled book cover and a plethora of found objects. There is also an acid distressed mirror under-glazed with a young girls image taken from an old cabinet card. Her eyes say it all......
A rusty key, glass cameos and a once discarded pocket watch add to the mysterious spirit of this piece.
I have also added some vintage music papers and chandelier crystals under-glazed with the same. A French vocabulary card from the past reads "songer" to think to oneself...to daydream.
Delicately strung in the corner is one of my hand sculpted and antiqued marionette style dolls. A subtle sense of melancholy pervades this beautiful piece. 15" by 12"
