Oven mitts can be cumbersome and awkward, but these little potholders are super easy to use. Simply slip your fingers in one pocket and your thumb into the other and it makes pulling things from the oven a cinch.
The pattern is easy to follow and uses very little fabric. One fat quarter will make two potholders if you use a contrasting lining fabric (1\/8 yard).
All you need is 1-2 100% cotton fabrics (no synthetics or blends--they might scorch), a 6" x 8" square of cotton batting, a 6" x 8" square of heat resistant batting like Insul~Bright and a tiny bit of ribbon if you'd like it to hang near the stove for easy access.
Potholders make simple and useful gifts for co-workers, friends, family or yourself.
This pattern is delivered to you via email and arrives in your inbox within 24-hours of receipt of your payment.
