I glaze and fire all my Day of the Dead ceramics to over 1800 degrees in my kiln. Underglaze decoration and glaze are lead free, food safe and dishwasher sturdy. These mugs make great vases and candy displays too. I like to fill them with black licorice whips, or a fragrant bouquet of marigolds.
Each mug is hand painted "freestyle" without a pattern, so each one comes out individually unique. Your mug will resemble the photographed mug, but may not be exactly like it. Thank you for appreciating unique creations, like Dali' did.
