A delightful little hand assembled book, or zine if you prefer, dedicated to the love of cake. I created it in honor of my friend Mollie's recent birthday and am now making it available to the rest of the cake adoring world.
Original collages and hand lettered text, xeroxed for that endearing low-fi look, folded, tied and embellished by my very own hands. Mini garlands are all different in color so the only promise I can make is that it will look great no matter which one you get.
I swear the cut-out people were actually talking, and the text is only a faithful rendition of the conversations I happened to overhear. As I am now addicted to making these books, this is the first in a series, The Needful Indulgences. Keep your eyes peeled for the next one on the necessity of coffee.
Oh yesss, a recipe card for Chris's favorite cake is clipped to the back of the book to facilitate the fulfilling of your now increased cake lust.
The book is in a limited edition of 25, each individually signed and hand-numbered.
