My husband and I recently became a members of the James Randi Educational Foundation and when we received our membership cards we also received a cute pewter pin of a flying pig. (beautifully sculpted and designed by Jutta Degener) We promptly used the pewter pigasus to press into some wet clay!
The flying pig or "pigasus"; as it is known is in honor of the Pigasus award presented by the JREF.
As described on the JREF website:
"The Pigasus Award is the name of an annual tongue-in-cheek honor recognized by noted skeptic James Randi. The awards seek to expose parapsychological frauds that Randi has noted over the previous year. Randi usually makes his announcements of the awards from the previous year on April 1."
Well, Johnny and I think that is so cool that we decided to honor the pigasus and make it into a Surly-Ramics necklace!

The necklace is painted in a pretty gray crackle glaze with black, pink and white details.

The ceramic pendant is just under 1.5"in diameter and has an 18" super soft black faux suede cord. ***************We will be happy to add a longer cord if you let us know via message to seller during checkout. Please specify if you need 20", 22", 24" or 26"************ :)
•We offer sparkly sterling silver chains as an option for our pendants. The silver chains start at $18 for an 18" chain and I can add them to any of the listings if you convo me or you can simply go to the silver chain section in my shop and purchase one separately. If you buy a chain I still include the black cord with the pendant as well in case you want to switch back and forth. •
The necklace comes packed in a pretty black gift box.
