Four O'Clock is a perennial blooming in mid-summer. They will develop a tuber and grow from 3'-4' tall. To germinate, barely cover seeds and keep moist or sow outside. They are large seeds and germinate easily so it is a good one for children to try. They are hardy from zone 7 to 11. Outside these zones, they may be treated as an annual or dug up over the winter and replanted in Spring.
This plant likes full sun to partial shade and is drought tolerant, making it suitable for the xeriscape garden. If grown in partial shade, it may become floppy but will still produce flowers.
All of my seeds are harvested by hand from plants grown organically, without the use of any chemicals. Seeds are packed in plastic bags and are kept cool until shipment. Please convo me with any questions.
Thanks for looking and keep checking for more listings as the season progresses!
