The painting is completed on heavy, acid-free single ply matteboard, which is gessoed on both sides. A quick pencil sketch is followed by bold, intuitive treatment with acrylics. The work is being sold unframed but a digital frame is shown so you can see how it might be presented.
I wander the hills just north of Lake Ontario. This piece is from a series of intimate, small landscapes that has been continuing for many years.
