This ring started out as something entirely different. I planned to rivet things...but as fate would have it, soldering got involved and the design took on a life of its own. The result is unintended, but I like it! Hammered brass is the base, with two very different type pearls pinned in place--a round, white freshwater pearl and a bronze free-form freshwater pearl. The white pearl sits in the center of a hammered copper washer. I loved the organic look and form of the bronze pearl next to the traditional perfection of the white. A scattering of silver solder adds to the loosely organic look. The band is sterling silver and adjustable--fits most sizes easily.
Not bad for a sort-of-kind-of mistake!!
