I remember in high school taking physics. Our teacher would begin each class by reading a few pages of a Ray Bradbury story which would unlock a little more of the puzzle. One day he held up an orange, and with his hand, circled around it and said, "This orange represents everything that we know. The space around it represents everything we still don't." That kind of blew my mind as a kid. He then said, "and the orange is not solid...and neither are you." Strange, because i had always thought i was, which i guess is all relative.

Each print is handmade, signed and numbered (in a series of 175). A xylene transfer is like a screenprint, but without the screen, and the artwork is hand-transferred inch by inch over a long hour. Each piece is an original, slightly different from the last. The paper stock is a 90lb, cream colored, 100% rag (cotton) sheet with 2 deckle edges and measures 22 x 30 inches. When shipped, the print is slowly and carefully rolled within a larger piece of paper, placed securely in a thick protective tube, brought to the post office and priority mailed with delivery confirmation.
