A Burro wearily plods through the crumbling square of a city in Old Mexico carrying his rider and cargo.

A cart casts a shadow and inside the courtyard, a palm tree shades the fountain in front of an old church.

Just a quick look back into the beginning of the last century.

This original composition was drawn and hand-burned (not laser burned) onto a specifically chosen wood plaque.

This piece is finished (2 hand-rubbed coats of tung oil) and is ready to display.

Creative time includes idea development, research, wood acquisition and preparation, sketching, woodburning, finish application (x2), installing hanger and totals 5 hours.
