The inspiration came to me from the like-named painting of the great artist Vincent van Gogh.
It's the kind of night, the sky you've ever seen before. It's not just the same old sky. Instead, the darkness is a deep, rich, velvet black is more bottomless than any ocean. The stars are not spots of light but brilliant, magical diamonds that dance and twirl like tiny ballerinas. In just this special moment, the sky is somehow alive, and it seems to speak to you silently about the meaning of infinity.
Handmade with very fine yarn this Starry Night Shawl is lightweight. Each colored peace of it is unique and you can't find two of them to be alike. The black lacy net is irregular and contains small fringes all over the body of the Shawl.
Hundreds of colors have been combined in the unique pattern to create this outstanding peace of wearable art.
This triangular-shaped shawl measures 90 inches (230cm) wide across the top and 36 inches (90cm) long from top to center end point including random crocheted fringe.
