Amazingly strong and resilient (the original 3 layer paper bags were manufactured to hold and ship 25 to 50 pounds of flour, grain, etc.) each bag has been repurposed into a unique and functional tote that just gets more supple with use.
The handles are triple folded (9 layers), and are applied using heavy-duty thread and double stitching. The bottom has been shaped and reinforced with (recycled of course!) cardboard.
The most common question I hear is "What if they get wet?” Well...I recently spilled an entire cup of coffee in one (don't ask...), drained and dried it out- it's as good as new!
