This is 1oz of soft, beautiful Merino roving dyed a lovely Mediterranean. This is part of my line of skin tone rovings. The skin tone line now consists of 10 shades which I hope the felters will love. As a spinner, I'm really drawn to these colors. They are so natural looking and blend together so wonderfully. I think there are some amazing creative possibilities here!

All of my Merino roving singles come with a free sample of Firestar dyed in the same pot. Firestar is a nylon that has a lustrous sparkle. Another advantage of working a little nylon into your yarn is that it gives it some added strength. It can also help super soft fibers like silks maintain their shape. A little Firestar goes a long way.

40 Colors! ~ I now have 40 colors of Merino Roving that I strive to keep in stock at all times. I dye all of these by hand with the one exception of Jet Black. The final photo on this listing is my full Merino Color Chart. You should be able to click on the image for an even larger view. This way you can see all of the colors I have to offer.

If I happen to be out of stock on one of these 40 colors, you can rest assured that it's on its way back into the shop. The moment I sell out of a color, I'm dyeing a new batch!

Merino is a very soft roving and feels great next to the skin. It's very nice to spin, blends well with other fibers and felts like a dream.
