Man Bowl - Licorice Glaze

Man Bowls – never heard of them? Neither had I until recently. I was with a group of potters discussing what they were making and one potter mentioned man bowls. She explained that men (and women, too) frequently want a bowl for their cereal, ice cream and such that is bigger than the usual bowls. Thus was born the man bowl. I thought it sounded like a good idea and started making them. My man bowls have been tested by friends, who report back that they like them a great deal. I hope you do as well.

This bowl is made of clay called stoneware. The glaze is food safe and is called Licorice. The external dimensions of the bowl: 5 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/8 inches high.
