They are REAL Working vintage cufflinks in a silvery color that were once dispensed in gumball machines approximately 50 years ago. The lighters are now collectors items. They are unused condition and in working order! I have attached them to matching cufflink findings and made sure the flint and wheel still works but I did not light them. (since these are vintage, if for some reason you get one that doesn't work, please contact me for a replacement). The lighters have a screw bottom to (re)fill with lighter fluid - the screw has an o-ring to keep fluid from evaporating. Sorry postal regulations say I have to ship them without fluid. Because they are vintage, one side may look better than the other so the lighters may face the same direction or different directions - if you have a preference for one or the other, please let me know in message to seller when you check out.
I will include extra flint and wick and it comes with my signature gift tin. The flint is standard size and probably needs to be shaved to fit into this little lighter. Each cufflink has a bullet back enclosure so you can slip it into the smallest of buttonholes or the largest and still have it lock into place when you flip the bar horizontally. Each lighter is only 7\/8 inch tall by 3\/4 inch wide and 3\/8 inch thick, just the right size for a cufflink!
CAUTION: Now of course care must be given that you don't burn yourself up trying to light a cigarette. TAKE THE CUFFLINK OFF BEFORE LIGHTING. The lighter is metal so it gets hot when lit and I wont be responsible if you set yourself or your clothes on fire. Do not overfill the lighter or the fluid might leak and TEST before you put it on with your best tuxedo or Armani suit. Do not keep lit for more than 30 seconds at a time because it will be too hot to handle and cufflink adhesion is only rated to about 350 degrees.
