This fabulous metalwork necklace features a vintage holy water bottle and beautifully ornate vintage silver crucifix, plus gorgeous deep blue and milky white beads, all on my handmade steel chain.
Holy water bottle is 3" tall, 1-1/4" wide, 1/2" thick.
Entire dangle is 7-1/2" long to bottom of bottle.
The chain is made from heavy 19 gauge steel wire.
Necklace measures 22" (55.88 cm) long when at full length.
I put an additional loop on the chain so it can be worn at 16" (40.6 cm) as shown in the first picture.

My handmade chains are meticulously put together, piece by piece. I hammer and polish the wire, then shape and cut the links, then connect them and line them up very precisely. It takes many hours to make one of these beautiful chains.
I use annealed steel wire on many of my pieces of jewelry. It has the 'old world' look I love. I love how it feels and sounds, and I love its strength. I sand and polish the wire with paste wax to protect it from rusting, on every piece I make. However, it is not stainless steel, and if it gets wet and is not dried off quickly and thoroughly, it will rust. I highly recommend you not wear these pieces in situations where they are likely to get wet.
