This beautiful fascinator is hand finished and made from beautiful Dupion silk. The pleating detail is also pressed by hand, and the veiling is all stitched carefully in place to rest around the face. It is sewn to a covered plastic comb, and there is a small amount of glue used, but it is mostly hand-sewn.

Dupion silk is a lustrous fabric, and the rich colors are rarely replicated with synthetics. It also has some stiffness, so the bow can be molded into slightly different shapes - whether that is a little puffy, or sits flat on the head.
Depending on the shape of your face and your hairstyle, the veiling may require a bobby pin or two to position it where you desire.
The fascinator will be packed and sent in a sturdy box to ensure a safe trip.
