This item sold on October 13, 2009.
the material used to construct this bag is over 50 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. this forest green colored woven wool is incredibly soft and beautiful. intricate hand-stitching from the original piece of fabric has been incorporated into this tote to highlight the unique nature of the material. any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.
fully lined with quilted, cream colored cotton, this large tote is just the right size for carrying everything you need during the day - your laptop, groceries from the farmers market, library books, a craft project, etc. two good-sized inside pockets can easily hold a cell phone, wallet, ipod, etc.
straps constructed out of recycled leather. hardware has been recycled from a WWII era military backpack.
tote measures approximately 19.5 inches wide, 15 inches tall, 5 inches deep.
(to see how this bag hangs on the shoulder please take a look at my sold items where there is a similar bag made with the same material)
much time and care is put into making every forestbound bag one of a kind.
