I enjoy setting a simple, fuss-free table. However, it's the simple, unpretentious details that can add character and personality.
Hand-printed with my original "field of blooms" design on 100% white medium weight linen that grows softer with each washing.
Each napkin measures approximately 17x17.
**NEW!! Napkins now have serged edges all around for a finished, elegant look (please see second photo to see what you will receive).**
Printed with non-toxic, water-based textile ink in a green-gray. The ink is left to cure for 24-48 hours and then heat-set for permanency. This helps to maintain the vibrancy of the ink. However, please expect slight fading after the first washing.
BLOCK-PRINT NOTE: printed by hand. The look of the block-printing does not have the opaque look of a screen print. Please see photo close-ups to see that the color of the fabric does show through a bit and a slightly weathered look is what is achieved. Therefore, due to the nature of the hand block-printing please expect some variations and “imperfections” . It’s these “imperfections” that I love and that lend to its charm and hand-made quality!
**Please allow approximately 2-3 days for me to lovingly prepare your napkins for shipping.
Care for your napkins is simple. Machine wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Line dry or tumble dry low. This beautifully textured fabric is one of my favorites because it only gets softer with each wash. Iron, if you'd like, with a warm iron or take out of the dryer at the end of the cycle and smooth them out a bit with your hand and they will be ready for guests.
