6"Wx12"H original mixed media collage on a 2" deep cradled wooden box. The deep cradle makes it a ‘ready to hang’ piece, a couple of nails in the wall and viola! You are set. (Includes a hanging wire as well) Finished with a protective UVA/UVB coating.
‘Paris in 1924' uses decorative paper (both new and vintage), a old photograph of trees, a large rusty metal washer and a gorgeous piece of vintage costume (green glass) jewelry...with just the right amount of romantic tarnish to it.
This piece, like all of the offerings in my shop is hand cut paper and found items, all hand assembled [no digital work]. It’s made using items that I go out and troll around flea markets and yards sales and paper shops to find --- I bring it all home to live with me until everything comes together [in a surprisingly magical way, oddly enough] to form the new creation you’re looking at.
