Pictured both ways, this multi-colorful piece is a candlestick that accommodates either a tea light or a tapered candle. As a novelty, initial copies of both the 1978 ELO LP Out Of The Blue, and this single, were both pressed in this unusual bright purple clear vinyl ( wish I had the LP). The only other one I've seen in this color is Prince's Purple Rain 45.The addition of the bright yellow Jet Records label makes this piece a real standout.

Movable orange bangles and a black metal spiral encircle the smooth chrome and flat black 12 inch high metal candle stick base with a streamlined design; the 45 is decorated with black plexiglass triangles, vintage costume jewelry pieces in pearl, purple, gold, and red; surrounding the candle inset is a large gold wire earring. Record, candlestick, and all attachments are in excellent condition.

The original title of this song was Dead End Street, but it was changed during recording to avoid confusion with a 1966 hit of the same title by the Kinks.
