The Dundee pattern was discontinued in 1962. I believe this to be from the early 1950s. Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory was founded in Hohenburg, Bavaria, in 1814. The company continues to make fine porcelain dinnerware and figurines as part of Rosenthal. This piece bears the traditional green stamp of Hutschenreuther Selb.
The platter is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, a very small amount of wear to the gold, and some light utensil marks.
Size: About 15 inches long by 10 1/2 inches wide (28 x 26.7 cm)
