I believe this hat is from the 1930s or 1940s, though it could be later. It seems like a perfect working hat--elegant but practical; not flashy but with some charming accents.
The hat is about 5 inches tall (12.7 cm). The ribbon inside (where it rests on the head) measures 21 inches (53.3 inches), but this hat can fit a larger head--it will just sit a little higher.
The fabric, veil, and brooch on this hat are in excellent condition. The wire frame underneath is a little warped, so the hat is no longer exactly round, though it does tend to fill out correctly when it's on the head.
