I created the beadwoven bezel for the cab using bright silver-lined violet and transparent pale lime green Japanese delica beads.
The coordinating necklace portion is a single strand of ndebele rope, or tubular herringbone, made from the same beads. It's primarily created from the violet beads, but I created a spiral that runs the entire length of the rope using the pale lime green beads. I left the back of the bezel open because I really liked the smooth texture and the concentric circles in the clay.
The bail I used on the cab is large enough that you can slip it off the ndebele rope and wear it on a chain or even on a piece of coordinating silk ribbon, if you so choose.
This one-of-a-kind necklace is eye-poppingly bright. Dress up your jeans and white t-shirt, wear it to the office, or wear it out for a special occasion. You're sure to garner some attention no matter where you go with this around your neck!
