Rockabye Baby Hammock Knitting Pattern -- INSTANT DOWNLOAD

PLEASE NOTE: This is a set of instructions, not the physical object. Once you have paid, you will receive an email with instructions for downloading 4 different pattern pdf's (so you can decide which way to make yours, maybe with fringe), along with another file with links to tips about newborn photography and digital editing.

Now you can knit one of these versatile photo props using double strands of yarn and large needles. (The nubby "Pooch" yarn is discontinued, but there is no limit to the wonderful yarn combinations possible.)

You can also wrap the baby in this, like a cocoon, or use it as a stork suspender.

YES! I do knit this item, and it is available for $40.00, plus shipping. Check my "Hand Knits" listings. Many other colors are possible, too.

Many thanks to Kim, of FrugalMmmama (who sells hammocks), to Wendy Noble of www.photographybywen.com and to Marija of www.tj-photography.com. Marija said: "Just wanted to let you know that your pattern is really easy to follow. We got to use the hammock at our last baby session. I made a few already." (Received 20 days after buying this pattern!)

The bottom photo shows another way to use the hammock. Many thanks to Rebekah from LaDiDaKnits for the use of this photo. Check out her shop.

Please be very cautious when using this and all baby photo props!! Parents are much more cooperative if you will place cushions beneath, and then remove that during final photo editing. They can also each take an end, and just barely lift baby off the floor.
