I selected a prong head to fit this gemstone. The shank is a cast sterling silver filigree design. I soldered the head into the shank with the long side of the oval going across the finger.
Next I set the stone. This is a beautiful 10x8mm AAA grade Royal Purple amethyst. It is clean, bright and saturated with color. The ring is a size 7.
