This box has 3 sides that have their own batting and a plastic piece inside. You can open it by squeezing from both ends.
Kai No Kuchi (Shell's Mouth) is a Japanese traditional handicraft for storing little things, especially great for storing your favorite jewelry or even thimble. I use a small one for storing my wedding ring when I don't wear. You can easily use this size box for storing your necklaces or rosary beads.
Each side is 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) L and 2 1/4" (6 cm) H.
This pattern is from a Japanese craft pattern magazine.
It is made in my smoke/pet-free home.
