Easily one of my favorite book quotes, it inspires me to create jewelry pieces with deep red components.
Dracula is the boyar, the highest order of nobility, of his region. While a prince was not automatically boyar, Dracula was both. This "Boyar" necklace is a play on the classic medallion worn in Dracula costumes. The black noir brass filigrees are accented with a vintage glass cabochon and dark red beads wire-wrapped onto oxidized brass chain.
The pendant is 2" wide, and the chain is 20" long.
