The combination of my love for making things out of paper, and fidgeting with tiny scraps of paper resulted in these tiny cranes. I made my first tiny crane in 7th grade study hall, and it soon became something I would do when my hands were restless. I used to make them, and leave a tiny crane in random places, wondering if they would be swept away as trash, or noticed by an observant passerby.
It would be perfect as a holiday stocking stuffer! I also thought it would be great to use the cranes as confetti to put inside letters and cards.
