These will hang approximately 1 1/8" from your piercing....
The sterling silver (all of the metal is sterling) is oxidized for contrast, and brushed for a lovely sheen.
The drops are vintage (over 50 years old) glass. The backs are "foiled" to allow for reflection and the foil does show wear and tear from tumbling around in storage for half a century. There is not so much rubbed off that it changes the reflection or the look of the earrings as a whole or makes these look flawed, but if you are after absolute perfection and not fond of the look of vintage costume jewelry, you might want to try a different pair. I sealed the original foil with a water resistant, non-toxic sealer to protect the sparkle for years to come...
All earrings ship completely unworn, for your health and safety. Please do allow for tiny variations, due to the handmade or/and vintage nature of the components used in my work. Your earrings will be the same design, color, etc as described here. The image of how these hang may show an earring of the same design, but a different finish. You will receive the earrings described in the first image and in this listing.
