It is in great condition! You can see a little of the string showing through to the left of the pendant if you look very closely. The decorative silver filigree around the pendant is also slightly imperfect but you can probably bend it back into place if you care to- I didn't touch it because I thought it added to it's vintage charm and appeal.
This necklace is very comfortable to wear and the smooth cool stones feel great against your neck.
I purchased this necklace in London a few years ago in a vintage shop and find that I never wear it anymore since I usually wear my own pieces. I hate to part with it, but I would rather see it go to someone who will wear it and get to really enjoy it.
