About our jewelry components:
We really enjoy creating our pieces, but the next best thing is searching for the components we use. Almost all of our beads come from the Czech Republic, a country known for hundreds of years for their wonderful beads. Some of them Camille brings back herself from trips she takes there each fall. Others we purchase from the nicest couple you will ever meet. They have small cottage industry bead factories that work for them in the Czech Republic using glass they select and deliver to create many beautiful and unique styles.
The metal pieces in our jewelry are all made of brass that we have plated in several different finishes such as, brass ox, brass with green patina, copper with green patina or bronze. They are new pieces made off of vintage tool and die machines. Most of the dies have been in use in the jewelry industry for over 100 years. The antique brass finishes that we choose wonderfully complement the warm natural tones that most of our jewelry features.
