The top of the dress is done in a gorgeous abstract floral print. The print is done in black and varying shades of blue that range from a vibrant royal blue to cornflower blue all on a creamy white background. The fabric also has leaves woven into the material throughout the print. The bottom of the dress is black silk with an all over leaf pattern woven into the fabric.
The dress is ruched the length of the torso, it has flexible stays built-in to accent your curves beautifully. It has huge puffed sleeves topped off with bows at the cuff. It has a dropped asymmetrical peplum. The full peplum overskirt has stiffening at the bottom to give it shape and movement, a very nice designer touch.
The dress has a sexy cutout at the back. It fastens with a center back zipper. It buttons above the cutout, across the shoulders, which come complete with substantial shoulder pads.
The entire dress is lined, the top in white silk and the bottom in black silk. The tag reads 100% silk, dry clean.
The dress is labeled size 6 however, vintage sizing is different than modern sizing so please use the measurements below to determine fit. I suggest that you measure similar garments that fit you well and compare the measurements to determine whether the dress will fit you properly.

Condition:
The dress is in excellent previously owned condition. I found no holes, stains, odors or rips. I did note a few tiny pulls in the fabric of the peplum, they are only seen upon very close inspection and do not effect the wearability of the dress in any way.
