This Starfish is a wonderful treat for any shadow puppet fan; wonderful coral-like texture brings any ocean scene alive! It has four sections - two body pieces and two arm pieces - allowing for some unusual three dimensional movements behind the shadow puppet screen. Using a hardy translucent woven paper in gold, the design gives off a slightly 'coral' texture, perfect for an underwater scene. This puppet does not move, so much as it 'warps' (see the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfelY1DWr3U. Colour more vibrant in real life), and 'walks' across the screen. The Starfish has gold string joints to complement this translucency. Laminated for protection (Worried about damp? Dust? Just wipe it down with a cloth, and it's good as new!), this puppet comes with two detachable, reversable rods and a set of instructions on care, use and repair. (Holes in the puppet facilitate easy rod attachment)
