Wild Thing

The vintage skeleton key is about 2 5/8 inches long and the bumpy bead measures approximately 17 mm (diameter) X 9 mm thick.

If you'd like to purchase the key on a 24 inch (or any length between 16 and 30 inches) gunmetal chain, let me know and I can revise the listing for you. The revised total would be $30. Or you can buy this, and choose a chain from the Make your Own section of my shop. If you'd like metal charms to go along with your necklace, those are available in that section too and more charms are added often.

This listing is for the lampworked bead on a key only. The photograph of a key with one of my etched charms is to show you how a key might look hanging on a necklace.

For a long time I've offered my Worrkeys on my website and at shows, but have decided that I'd offer them here as well. You're probably wondering what the heck is a Worrkey? Well, it's my term for a bead, in this case a lampworked bead, on a key...a worry bead and a key combined! This bead slides freely on the key for those times that you just want/need to fiddle with something.

All of my beads are created by me in my little studio in New England. While these have been digitally kiln annealed directly from the torch, they are glass and may break if mishandled. Not intended for children.

I try to use pictures from various angles that are true to color, but monitors vary.

The picture of my packaging is a sampling of what your necklace might arrive in. Since these are handstamped by me, if you'd like a different object than the key, please let me know in the Notes to Seller. I've also done these up with a pocketwatch and bird in a cage.
