It would be absolutely spectacular framed.
Printing of this wonderful quality showing all the fine minute details, is a long lost art-form, I'm afraid. Engraved print making is an amazingly slow and time consuming process; far too costly to pay an artisan to do in these times.
'1903 Map Of Africa' is in wonderful condition, with crisp edges and corners with a lovely soft and even light tanning. Not too shabby at all for 106 year old paper! This beautiful old map is a rescued centerfold-out from an opulent reference book from the turn of the century. The lovely satin-finished paper measures 9.25" x 11.25" overall and it's folded in the center as it was when it was first issued 108 years ago.
'1903 Map Of Africa' is in wonderful condition – the paper is smooth and clean without tanning, wrinkles, foxing or flaw. This beautiful antique map of Edwardian era Africa is a real gem.
